This holiday home was newly built by the owner, himself an architect, in 2004. It is situated in a mediterranean-style garden complete with orange grove in a tributary valley in undulating surroundings. The house is 5 kilometres off Manacor and 7 kilometres off the beach.

The lodge’s style is timeless and modern, incorporating elements of characteristic island architecture. High-end heat regulation and sunscreen are matters of course.

Stepping into the entrance hall with adjoining cloak room, the visitor enters the main floor of the building, containing the kitchen with secondary rooms, a parlour with dining area and open fireplace, two bedrooms with separate bathrooms and lavatories, a study and an amply sun terrace.

The basement, built into the hillside, contains two separate apartments. The first sports a living room with a small-scale kitchen and two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The second apartment contains living room with a cosy kitchen area and a bathroom. On the same level, the wellness area with jacuzzi and sauna are to be found, as well as the wine cellar, plant rooms and storage facilities. Crossing the beautiful sun terrace with open-air shower, surrounded by flowers and palm trees, the visitor reaches the pool.
The rimless spillway of the pool encloses a surface of 5 x 10 metres at 1,6 metres depth. Next to it is a canopied pergola.
Close to the entrance of the estate are a double garage, plant and storage rooms for fuel and gas as well as the emergency generator.
The lodge possesses its own electricity supply with photovoltaics and a diesel-generator. The water is warmed via solar cells and gas heating. In general, the building is heated with hot-water heating using radiators with liquid gas.
Water is conveyed from a deep well to a 100 cubic-metre cistern. From there, it is pumped to the house and garden. There is a telephone connection via the public Telefonica-net and UMTS internet access via Vodafon.
